REGINA, Saskatchewan April 1, 2022—Lumeca Health Inc. (Lumeca), a leading provider of virtual healthcare software, today shares that Tom Douglass has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer as of February of this year.
Tom Douglass is an experienced serial entrepreneur with a track record in successful ventures for the last decade. From 2013 to 2018, Tom built and scaled the Saskatchewan Tech company sMedia with his partners into a multimillion-dollar business in Canada and the USA. After his exit, Tom began a consulting firm for startups, where he helps scale notable Sask Startups including: Store to Door, Hometeam Live, and Lumeca Health Inc.
In April of 2021, Lumeca’s Board and key investors asked Tom to join the team full-time as COO. Under his leadership, the team successfully transitioned its offering from a virtual medical service provider model to a SaaS-based model. Tom was promoted to CEO in February of this year with a vision to grow Lumeca internationally by offering the Lumeca software to providers across North America.
