The Platform is intended to create a secure platform for use by health providers in the delivery of virtual care. We recognize that virtual care is an evolving practice and may include, but is not limited to, the following: tele-medicine, e-consults, tele-rounds, follow-up care, tele-triage, tele-emergency care, etc. With respect to appointment scheduling, use of the Platform may include: ability to add other clinic personnel, ability to invite patients, ability to conduct chat, video, or phone consultations, ability to take SOAP notes, ability to initiate follow ups, ability to request the GPS location of an individual, and ability to send and receive faxes for prescriptions, lab tests or referrals. Users of the Platform may include any member of the interprofessional primary or emergency healthcare team as applicable and as assigned by the purchaser of the Platform.
This Agreement governs your access to and use of the Platform as a Clinical User.

The term Clinical User also refers to a Business Associate “a person or organization, other than a member of a covered entity’s workforce, that performs certain functions or activities on behalf of, or provides certain services to, a covered entity that involve the use or disclosure of individually identifiable health information.”
