The Lumeca Connect Pro platform offers novel features designed to help patients find a family doctor based on geography and open appointment times of physicians taking on new patients. ABOUT THE ONTARIO HEALTH VIRTUAL VISITS VERIFICATION PROGRAM
Ontario Health has established provincial standards for virtual care solutions through the Virtual Visits Verification Program (“VVV”). Lumeca has attested that it and its Lumeca Connect telehealth software meets all mandatory requirements as specified in the Virtual Visits Solution Requirements (“the Requirements”).
These requirements include multiple participant features that help health care teams securely support the care and case study management of citizens of Ontario. Other features include giving citizens the opportunity to be active participants in their care journey, from patient self-scheduling to asynchronous communication with providers. The ways health professionals can support their patients expand with the use of virtual care solutions, such as Lumeca Health.
In addition, Lumeca meets the security and privacy requirements. All proprietary solutions are PHIPA (ON) and PIPEDA compliant and meet end-to-end encryption standards. Lumeca is also on the path to SOC 2 Type II certification having completed a Threat Risk Assessment by an independent cyber risk professional. The efforts to improve and maintain security also include vulnerability scanning and pen testing according to industry standards.

Solution Providers are required to meet all Mandatory Requirements for
patient-to-provider video and/or secure messaging, as applicable and as specified in the Virtual Visits Solution Requirements (“Requirements”).
