Job Description
As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our products, overseeing the entire product lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions. Location
Lumeca has an office in Regina, Saskatchewan, however, the successful candidate can work remotely and does not have to live in Saskatchewan.
Primary Duties
- Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap, aligned with the company’s vision and goals, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch activities, including requirements gathering, market research, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, and go-to-market strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure smooth coordination and alignment throughout the product development process.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Utilize this information to drive product improvements and innovations.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including executives, development teams, and external partners, to ensure clear understanding of product goals, timelines, and expectations.
- Product Planning and Execution: Define and prioritize product features, create user stories, and collaborate with the development team to ensure successful and timely product releases. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and make necessary adjustments to achieve business objectives.
- User Experience and Design: Work closely with the design team to create intuitive and user-friendly software interfaces. Continuously gather user feedback and data to drive product enhancements and optimizations.
- Product Performance Analysis: Analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market data to measure the success of product initiatives. Identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven recommendations for future iterations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field is an asset.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in a software development company, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Demonstrated success in delivering software products through the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch.
- Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering business value and achieving organizational goals.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making, with a solid understanding of product metrics and analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and find innovative solutions.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desired.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
